Holy Divah

Woke up this morning, wasn’t sure what to do. Went to breakfast with friends and going to see Iron Man with one of them later today.

A few days ago I was hit with a dilemma. Changing jobs. If you know me, you know I hate change. It’s probably one of my biggest fears. I do overcome it a lot, but it makes for very difficult decisions. There was a lot of benefits of leaving my current employer, but I ultimately decided to stay where I’m at. I had a fortune cookie yesterday that read “Your decisions at the moment are good. Trust yourself.” I trusted myself and am confident I made the right choice. Now I need my absences to roll off to get back in good standing at my current job.

Watched “My Cousin Vinny” today. It’s actually probably one of my favorite movies. i really enjoy Vinny (Joe Pesci) and how he struggles with himself throughout the movie. He knows he can do it, he just can’t get in the right set of mind. When he finally does, he nails it. I highly recommend this movie.

My Xbox Live DRM is still broken. They are fixing it though. I did buy Assault Heroes 2 though.

I will leave you now with a scene from “My Cousin Vinny”

Enjoy!

Such is… DRM.

Last week I acquired an Xbox 360 Elite. I’ve been pretty impressed so far. Compared to the older console I had, it’s a lot quieter. In fact, when in idle, it can barely be heard at all. I’m very happy with my purchase except for one problem. DRM. Evil, broken DRM. I don’t know how many times it has to be said before it gets through to companies. People HATE DRM. My situation boils down to this: I can’t access any previously downloaded content on my console unless I am online. While it’s not usually irritating, I don’t feel like I own it anymore. I know you technically never own it and are just buying a license or whatever, but it still just plain doesn’t feel right. I have contacted Microsoft about this, and have only been given the run around. I was told a supervisor would call me back Sunday regarding it. It’s Wednesday evening, and nothing still. I’m afraid I’m stuck.

Besides that slightly annoying news, It has obviously been brought to your attention that this is now a blog. Yes, a blog. My personal blog. I feel that it represents me in a unique way, so I found it fitting to become my blog. I apologize for the site’s latest iteration as a forum, it was full of spam and inactivity. Thanks for sticking with me. I will update this on a regular basis.

On that note, I leave you with this:

Stick around for more in the future! :)
